| Programmes
CATCH-point staff work as a team in all therapeutic and support programmes.
Families will be involved with more than one therapist including one key
therapist with whom to consult and direct any questions or concerns.
Collaborative Assessment
CATCH-point Collaborative Assessment focuses on:
• the attachment relationship between child and parents or carers;
• support needs of the family;
• therapeutic needs of the child
• behaviours of the child at home, at school and in a clinical
setting.
The Assessment is conducted in collaboration with existing support services and professionals already involved with the child or family and includes observations at home, in school and in a clinical setting. The report offers recommendations for therapy for the child and support for the family and school.
A follow-up parent/professional meeting is usually recommended to agree a programme to meet the needs of the child and family. Attendance at this meeting by a CATCH-point staff member is included in the assessment costs. |
