Catchpoint is a Registered Adoption Support Agency committed to developing integrated services for adoptive and foster families affected by trauma and attachment difficulties.
Joy Hasler M.A. Clinical Director and Music Therapist
Joy comes from a music teaching background until she trained as a music therapist. She has experience of community work in urban priority areas, residential care, fostering and adoption. Joy completed the PACT training at Post Adoption Centre London in 1995. Certificate in Psychotherapy with Dissociative Disorders with ISSDT.
She has worked as a residential child care worker, community work, a teacher (including in an EBD special school), a music therapist in private practice, an adoption consultant and training officer for Adoption UK. She has also contributed to the training in adoption, attachment and trauma issues for health, education and social services professionals. She has contributed to the training of music and play therapists. She is a published author and book illustrator in the field of adoption, fostering and Music Therapy.
She is an adoptive parent and has also been a short and long term foster carer. She has been a group and telephone co-coordinator for Adoption UK and a founder and chair of Attachment in Action.
Tom Pyne M.Ed. Strategic Director and Education Consultant.
Tom is an assistant head of a special school for EBD children and is a trained counsellor. He has many years experience of working with traumatised children, and has devised models of support for teaching staff. Tom is a trainer and has given presentations across the country.
James McAllister M.A. Integrative Child Psychotherapist
James is a play therapy trainer and has experience of working with traumatised children.
Carly Kingswood PG Dip Play Therapist
Carly has worked with abused and neglected children since 2002, has personal experience of fostering and has worked as a social worker in urban areas.
Heather Graham MA Music Therapist
Heather has worked in mainstream and special education both as a teacher and music therapist in primary and secondary schools and has experience working in adult mental health. Heather is an accomplished performing cellist and certified Cello Babies teacher.

Ann has personal experience of adoption and has been part of Catchpoint since the beginning. Ann is responsible for HR and Training and is also a Trainee Counsellor
