Catchpoint is a Registered Adoption Support Agency committed to developing integrated services for adoptive and foster families affected by trauma and attachment difficulties.
Joy Hasler M.A. Clinical Director and Music Therapist
Joy comes from a music teaching background until she trained as a music therapist. She has experience of community work in urban priority areas, residential care, fostering and adoption. She was involved in setting up ‘It’s a piece of Cake’, a parenting course for adopters from Adoption UK. Joy is a trainer and has given presentations nationally and internationally.
Tom Pyne M.Ed. Strategic Director and education consultant.
Tom is an assistant head of a special school for EBD children and is a trained counsellor. He has many years experience of working with traumatised children, and has devised models of support for teaching staff. Tom is a trainer and has given presentations across the country.
Kate Havord B.A. Art therapist
Kate has worked with Catchpoint since the beginning. She has experience of mental health nursing.
Jane Collins GLSM. Music therapist
Jane worked for CAMHS before helping to found Catchpoint.
James McAllister M.A. Integrative Child Psychotherapist
James has recently joined Catchpoint and brought his play therapy skills to the team. James is a play therapy trainer and has experience of working with traumatised children.

Ann has personal experience of adoption and has been part of Catchpoint since the beginning.
